Isabelle Leguy is the General Inspectors for Education, Sport and Research. The role of the General Inspectorate is to supervise and assess policies in the field of education, from early years to higher education, notably primary and secondary school teaching and learning, access to higher education, research, sports, associations and public libraries. Within that scope, Isabelle Leguy is charge of Foreign Language educational policy, and is tasked with supervising the implementation of the new French International Baccalaureate (BFI).
