Eugenia Harris

Eugenia Harris, EdD, has nearly 15 years of experience in higher education, with responsibilities spanning academic website and catalog management, academic records administration, and institutional data oversight. She currently supervises the Office of the Registrar and Institutional Research at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Her academic interests focus on issues affecting underrepresented students and college student persistence. Before joining Austin College, Dr. Harris held positions at Trevecca Nazarene University and the First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt University, both in Nashville, Tennessee. She spent more than a decade working as an editor prior to transitioning into higher education. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Harris earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University. She also holds both a master’s degree in liberal arts and science and a doctorate in higher education leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University.
