Holly Custard, Ph.D., is a dynamic executive leader with more than 25 years of experience
driving social impact through learner-centered education and technology innovation. At Strada,
she leads efforts to advance Learning Mobility-the ability to carry learning (knowledge, skills,
competencies, and credentials) across institutions, systems, and life stages.
Her work focuses on aligning institutions, employers, and communities to modernize policies,
strengthen data and technology infrastructure, and remove transitional barriers between
education and work for learners. With expertise spanning qualitative research, learner-centered
design, online learning, digital credentials, data and technology interoperability, philanthropy, and workforce alignment, Dr. Custard is known for building strategic partnerships and catalyzing
cross-sector collaboration. She is dedicated to shaping the future of education and work while
expanding opportunity for individuals, institutions, and communities.
