Dr. Carrie Pyeatt serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Michigan School of Psychology (MSP) in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She earned her doctorate in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Capital University. At MSP, her primary roles are to strengthen efforts for the continued viability of the institution, implement services to support diverse students, provide oversight for the institution’s strategic plan, and to oversee institutional accreditation. During her career, Carrie has had roles in residential life, admissions, student engagement, student services, non-profit financial and human resources management, and served as Registrar. Carrie is passionate about higher education and non-profit management. Her research interests are around working at small higher education institutions and supporting diverse students.
