2025 AACRAO Elections Candidate – 2026-2027 N&E Committee Member
David Williams is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and currently lives in North Carolina. He has an undergraduate degree in Music from Elizabeth City State University and a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he taught music in the classroom for 10 years. Williams worked in collegiate admissions for undergrads and older adults for seven years, serving traditional and non-traditional students looking to receive their bachelor’s degrees. Continuing in higher education, he worked in a collegiate career services office for two years and currently serves as the law school registrar at North Carolina Central University. For AACRAO, he is a member of the Black Caucus, and has presented at the 2025 and 2026 annual conferences. Williams also presented the 2026 Black History Program. He is also the Communications Chair for the National Network of Law School Officers (NNLSO) and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, INC.
