Krishnan has served Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine since 2023, providing executive leadership across admissions, records and registration, financial services, and strategic enrollment management. He oversees a comprehensive enrollment portfolio that supports the medical school’s mission, financial sustainability, and commitment to holistic review and student success. Since joining OUWB, Krishnan has led initiatives to modernize admissions operations, strengthen data and analytics capacity, expand pathway and early assurance programs, and align enrollment strategy with institutional priorities and accreditation standards. His work emphasizes equity-minded enrollment practices, predictive modeling, and the integration of financial and academic indicators to support informed decision-making. Krishnan holds bachelor’s degrees in secondary education and biological sciences, master’s degrees in cardiovascular physiology and public health, and a doctoral degree in cardiovascular physiology from Wayne State University. He also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Foundational Medical Studies.
