As an advocate for higher education she thrives in the realm of student services, specifically in recruitment, where she can interact with students from diverse backgrounds and encourage them to invest in their education. Loida has a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in Cultural Studies, and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
