The Student Access and Equity Committee is responsible for all issues relating to minority students accessing postsecondary institutions, including graduate and professional schools.
Committee members:
- Encourage submissions and assist with selection of program sessions for presentation at the AACRAO Annual Meeting
- Undertake special projects to improve the knowledge, expertise, and performance of the members of our profession
- Write articles for AACRAO publications and short articles for Connect (optional)
The Academic Progress Committee is one of AACRAO’s Professional Activities Committees (PAC). It falls under Group 5: Access & Equity.
A a member of a PAC you can grow your professional network and help shape the programming of the Annual Meeting.
PAC members serve a three-year term and dedicate an average of one hour per month of their time. Time commitment increases when reviewing Annual Meeting submissions in August and September.
