U.S. Department of Education Approves Second Workforce Pell Grant Program 

The Department of Education approved the nation’s second Workforce Pell program, allowing eligible students at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana to use Pell Grants for the institution’s eight-week Clinical Medical Assistant program. This approval follows the August 4 authorization of the first Workforce Pell program at Iowa Central Community College and comes as governors and state workforce boards nationwide continue identifying additional programs for potential eligibility.
