A University of California task force has released seven recommendations aimed at standardizing policies governing sexual assault across the 10-campus system. The recommendations were part of a report presented on Wednesday at a meeting of the system’s Board of Regents.
The group’s recommendations set timetables for streamlining campuses’ policies, including:
- Setting up an independent office devoted to survivor advocacy on each campus by January 2015.
- Creating a systemwide website on the issue by January 2015.
- Having each campus adopt systemwide investigation and adjudication standards by July 2015.
