Dear Readers,
The broadness of industry shifts and regulatory pressures that impact higher education can sometimes feel abstract and impersonal. So this issue zooms in on the personal. The word “person” comes from the Latin “persona,” from an actor wearing a mask, but now revealing the individual behind it. These interviews and self-reflections show you how your colleagues are carving out their own paths and finding meaning in their day-to-day work and relationships. Not all perspectives need the show of a grand strategy, but rather the lens of a single story. Each of our voices can contribute to progress in any direction.
