We are 1,740+ strong in attendance and coming to you live from the 110th AACRAO Annual Meeting in Seattle. The vibe is hugs, handshakes, lunches, chats, meetups, and more. If you are unable to attend this year, please know there is someone who is missing you, waiting to pick your brain, or can’t wait to share with you what they are learning, hearing, and discovering.
And if you doubt that, I encourage you to take the advice of Erika Swain, Assistant Director of Academic Compliance and Authorization for the University of Colorado Boulder, and speaker at Monday’s Morning Plenary: “I don’t know who does what I do at some of your institutions…Go find that person, introduce yourself, say, ‘This is what I do, I’d like to help you. This is what I have, this is who I am.’ Who else is out there who’s doing this work? Because it is so convoluted and it is all connected.”
