The 25-member Association of Proprietary Colleges, which is regulated by New York’s Board of Regents, has a snazzy new video slamming the gainful employment rule and demanding that the Education Department release data showing how the rule would – or wouldn’t – affect public and non-profit colleges, as well as for-profits. APC does have praise for one federal initiative: It says President Barack Obama is “on the right track” with a proposed federal ratings system.
