Connecticut Debuts Searchable Registry of College and Training Credentials

Connecticut has launched a new online credential registry designed to make information about college degrees, certificates, and workforce training programs more accessible to students, families, and policymakers. The tool brings together information on approximately 130 colleges, universities, and private career schools and more than 4,200 credit and noncredit programs, allowing users to compare educational and training opportunities across the state. The initiative is intended to improve transparency around postsecondary pathways and eventually connect program information with employment and earnings data to help learners make more informed education and career decisions.
