Admissions Marketing Challenges

In today’s world, how we market ourselves to prospective students can make or break the enrollment goals of an institution. Navigating between all the different forms of media further adds to the challenge. This Collective Gathering is an open discussion for members to share challenges that they are facing in their marketing strategy to prospective students. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions and share their own ideas with their peers.

Discussion Questions

• What are the marketing challenges that your office is currently facing?
• Which forms of marketing are you utilizing to reach students? Print, web, social, email, etc.?
• Do you handle your marketing internally or externally?
• Do you have an overarching goal that ties everything together, or is there a cohesive strategy at all?
• How do you utilize current students in your marketing goals?

About AACRAO Collective Gatherings

Open to all AACRAO members, this regularly held Zoom is an opportunity to connect, exchange, and commune. A member moderator will help to foster an open space for AACRAO members to discuss whatever is on their minds as it relates to that month’s discussion topic.

The June meeting will take place from 3:00 PM ET – 4:00 PM ET on October 22, 2026. Below you can find June’s member moderator as well as the discussion topic and registration link. Once registered, you should receive a Zoom invitation via your roster-listed email address.

Please note, Collective Gatherings are discussion based. They are not recorded to promote attendee engagement.
