The number of students to have their Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied results permanently withheld because of cheating in this year’s exams has risen to 155.

New figures provided by the State Examinations Commission (SEC) show that 155 Leaving Cert results have been permanently withheld because of cheating.
