It is the third consecutive year with numbers around historic highs in the competition for access to higher education. In the 1st phase of this year’s national entry competition, the results of which are known this Sunday, 49,806 students secured a place at a public university or polytechnic. It is the second highest number ever, only surpassed by 2020. There are also more students placed in the first option and fewer vacancies left.
