The Learning Monitoring (ModA) trial tests, which were scheduled to take place this month, have been postponed to April due to the storms that hit several areas of the country, destroying schools and affecting the lives of students, families and professionals.
The decision to change the dates of these digital tests for students in the 4th, 6th and 9th grades was announced this Friday by the Ministry of Education, according to a note sent to schools to which Lusa had access.
These digital tests serve to ensure that students are familiar with the platform they will later use in the ModA test and to ensure that schools are also prepared to move forward with the ModA .
However, the supervisory body considers that these conditions are “not met” for ” all students and all schools ,” and therefore opted to reschedule the Essay Exams.
The exams, which were supposed to start on February 23 , will now take place between April 14 and 23 .
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MECI) adds that the dates for the ModA exams and the Final Basic Education Exams “remain unchanged .”
