Registrar 101 & FERPA Two-Day Workshop - Spend two days diving into the work of the registrar’s office and get answers to the “what” and “how” questions that new registrars want to ask. A significant portion of the workshop will focus on understanding and applying FERPA. Develop a greater understanding of the depth and breadth of the work of the registrar, how to find information and answers, and expand your network of professional contacts. ($460)
AACRAO International: The Basics - Your journey starts with a one-day dive into basic strategies in international admissions, including the knowledge base and skill set needed for credential evaluation. Apply what you’ve learned using case studies based on actual sample documents. ($290)
AACRAO International: Around the World - Day two provides an overview of evaluating credentials based on the world’s major educational system models, including high-volume countries such as China and India. You may attend either one or both of the AACRAO International workshops. ($290)
Admissions Leadership Academy - If you are aspiring to a leadership position, are new to leadership, or are seeking a “refresher” course, this one-day workshop will cover recruitment, marketing, operations, staffing, and technologies that support admissions. ($99)
Core Concepts of SEM - Participants will learn how to develop, write, and implement a SEM Plan under the guidance of SEM expert faculty in this one-day workshop. ($139)
FERPA: Beyond the Basics and Into the New - Participants will engage in in-depth discussion of the changes to FERPA and also be given an explanation of why those changes were made and what they mean for your campus. This one-day workshop is presented by LeRoy Rooker, the nation’s leading authority on FERPA, who directed the Department of Education’s effort in issuing the new regulations. Ask Mr. Rooker all those pressing FERPA questions you want answered. ($150)
