fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

May 6, 2026 | 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM ET

This webinar highlights how Workday Student’s embedded Student Administration AI Agent, including Transcript Processor and Transfer Credit Assist, uses dual‑engine AI to deliver faster, clearer credit decisions entirely within Workday. By eliminating manual work and disconnected bolt‑on tools, institutions can give students timely, transparent answers about which credits count, support confident enrollment choices, and drive better completion, career, and life outcomes—while streamlining processing, reporting, and scalability for the institution.
