fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

Community College Focus Forum

February 3, 2026

February 3, 2026 | 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET

The Community College Focus Forum launched in December with strong engagement and meaningful discussion, setting the foundation for an ongoing collaborative space for community college professionals. We’re excited to continue the conversation at our February forum, where participants are encouraged to share current issues, campus challenges, recent achievements, and innovative practices. This forum provides an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and work collectively to identify solutions that support student success. Whether you’re looking to bring a topic for discussion, highlight a success, or seek input from fellow experts, we welcome your participation and look forward to another engaging and productive session. This session will not be recorded.
