Information Security for Admissions and Registrars: Why the Security Office are Your Friends

While each member of a university or college community has specific responsibilities, everyone plays a role in securing the data we collect and utilize. This session will have two experienced security leaders, one from a private school and one from a major public research institution, provide an overview of how the collaboration with the security mission benefits the offices and the institution overall. This is an opportunity to discuss best practices for University systems and common efforts to protect registrar and admissions data against the increasing threats in our environment, as well as to learn best practices to protect the university’s reputation.
