This webinar is a follow-up to Dr. Garrett's Blockchain Untangled webinar, which focused on her path to understanding and then implementing blockchain in her work. This next step involves making a case to registrars to adopt blockchain to ward against diploma mills and individually produced fraudulent credentials, such as fake diplomas and transcripts. Participants will gain an understanding of blockchain, and hear her case for why having registrar support could bring this 3.0 web technology to fruition for validating institutional credentials.
