The January 2017 AACRAO 60-Second Survey focused on student records management practices.

The January 2017 AACRAO 60-Second Survey focused on student records management practices. Respondents were not required to answer all of the questions, nor were all questions proffered to each respondent. Almost 1,300 individuals responded to this survey. This data filtering resulted in a set of 1,045 responses collected from institutions representing several combinations of control, size and type as well as several countries.

The enrollment value used to delineate the institution's size category is defined as full-time enrollment plus 1/3 of part-time enrollment and is based on the enrollment reported by the institution to the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
