Rickiea Cohen, MBA is an experienced higher education professional with over 7 years of leadership in registrar services, enrollment management, and admissions. She currently serves as Assistant Registrar-Residency at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she acts as the Campus Classification Officer, overseeing residency determinations in compliance with University System of Maryland and state policies, while also developing training programs to support institutional compliance and operational efficiency.

Rickiea holds a Bachelor of Science from Lincoln University with a dual major in Mass Communications and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with a Certificate in Leadership and Management. Her professional work reflects a strong commitment to equity, student access, operational excellence, and collaborative leadership within higher education.

A committed leader within professional organizations, Rickiea currently serves as President- elect, for the Chesapeake and Potomac Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CAPACRAO), Past Vice President of Communications for CAPACRAO, she is also an active member of AACRAO, serving as a member of the AACRAO Awards and Nominations Committee and the Black Caucus. Additionally, Rickiea serves as Membership Chair for the AALU Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter and is a longstanding member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
