Join other professionals engaged in institutional academic work to discuss the most complex and daunting issues facing higher education enrollment today. Begin with an overview of recent research regarding the role of faculty in SEM and ways institutions are centering SEM in the academic context, and continue the conversation with a facilitated discussion of selected hot topics.

Senior SEM Leadership Forum CAPACITY REACHED

No fee; Pre-registration required*

The Forum begins with the introduction of a challenging topic, research findings on that topic, and some initial questions to stimulate conversation. There are no clear or simple solutions; participants' cumulative knowledge guides the content and discussion. The session is facilitated, but there is no formal presentation.

*The Forum is for senior enrollment leaders employed full-time at a higher education institution, but others may be contacted for additional information prior to acceptance. Participation is limited to no more than 50 people, and one representative per institution will be accepted. Please email Clayton Smith with questions.

Use of Data and Data Analysis

Review core enrollment management concepts and data management principles preceding the data analysis phase. Interact with datasets and models for a “hands-on experience” to further understand the use of data and data analysis concepts tied to recruitment and retention. Each participant will receive a copy of the models (thumb drive). 

Requirements: Participants need to know how to use the current version of Microsoft Excel and bring a laptop for the hands-on experience.

Take a journey through the what and how of the registrar's office, and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful now and in future supervisory roles. A significant portion of the workshop, led by AACRAO Senior Fellow LeRoy Rooker, is dedicated to understanding and applying FERPA. This workshop is for those who have been in a registrar-related position for less than three years.
