AACRAO IS COMMITTED TO MEETING SAFELY

UPDATED MARCH 21, 2022
We and our partners are working diligently to provide an elevated level of comfort at our 107th Annual Meeting. We believe our community benefits from coming together and we encourage all to respect and care for one another as we navigate our "new normal."

AACRAO continues to monitor the changing landscape involving the CDC guidelines with regard to COVID-19 safety.

This is a very fluid time. We will continue to evaluate what is best to ensure we meet safely and that conference participants are comfortable.  We will continue to post updates as needed.

All Domestic* attendees must obtain a CLEAR Health Pass in order to pick up their badge and registration materials at the Registration counter.
*International Attendees should proceed directly to the Health & Safety desk.
Health & Safety Questions answered:
  • Are face coverings required?

All Annual Meeting attendees and exhibitors attending the conference are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

  • Is vaccination required to attend the Annual Meeting?

Attendees are required to provide CDC-or WHO-approved proof of vaccination status prior to attending the conference in Portland. AACRAO has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass. Attendees can download this HIPAA-compliant, trusted app to their mobile device and upload or link the necessary documentation. If an attendee is unable to link their vaccination record to their CLEAR Health Pass, they may bring their results to the Health & Safety Desk at Registration.

Note: Local, city, and state vaccination policies supersede that of AACRAO. If the locale implements a vaccination requirement, AACRAO policy will reflect the same. We encourage those unable to meet the requirement to register for the virtual 2022 AACRAO Annual Meeting.
  • Will a negative test for COVID-19 be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination?

Yes. AACRAO has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass. Attendees can download this HIPAA-compliant, trusted app to their mobile device and upload proof of a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to the meeting in order to obtain their Health Pass. Attendees will show meeting staff their CLEAR Health Pass at the Registration Counter when picking up their badge and registration materials.

Unvaccinated individuals are required to provide documentation of a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the start of the meeting.  If an attendee is unable to link their negative test results to their CLEAR Health Pass, they may bring their results to the Health & Safety Desk at Registration.
