Tuesday, July 14, 2026Congressional Meetings until 4pm. Advocates may choose to depart Tuesday evening.
Wednesday, July 15 2026Remaining advocates depart Washington, DC.
Expected Costs:

AACRAO will cover local transportation, up to three hotel nights, as well as food according to the table below. Advocates are responsible for their flight/transportation to and from Washington, DC.

AACRAO will reimburse advocates based on the GSA per diem rate for Washington, DC.

Meeting Expectations:

Congressional Meetings will occur between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Most advocates, especially first-timers, will be paired with another advocate. Pairs can expect to attend 6 meetings through out the day, each lasting a half hour at most.
