BW2019

Join other higher education international professionals in Ulm, Germany for this year's BW Seminar.

OCTOBER 18-24, 2020

Each autumn, a select group of AACRAO and NAFSA members travels to Germany to participate in an educational professional development program focused on the German educational system, German-American academic equivalencies, and student exchange between Germany and the U.S. Attendees visit secondary and tertiary educational institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg, while experiencing a little taste of the German culture and cuisine, courtesy of our German hosts.

Colleagues working as admissions officers, registrars, study abroad officers, international student advisers, and others with responsibility for postsecondary-level exchanges should apply.

Application Process

  • Process

The application window will open soon.
An AACRAO/NAFSA review committee will evaluate applications in early July. AACRAO will notify finalists in late July.

On-site costs for participants (lodging, most meals and transportation for excursions) will be covered by the Ministry. Participants or their institutions are responsible for the cost of transportation to and from Konstanz, Germany.

  • Who should apply

Study abroad officers, international student advisers, admissions officers, registrars, and others with responsibility for postsecondary-level exchanges.

    • Applicants must be a member of either AACRAO or NAFSA, or both.
