June 4, 2026 | 2:00-3:00 pm ET

Join the American Council on Education (ACE) for an introduction to the Military Guide, a resource for translating military training, occupational experience, and education into college credit recommendations. Whether your institution is brand new to evaluating military transcripts or simply looking to build a stronger foundation, this session will walk you through how to utilize the Military Guide to view additional information about the learning documented on the Joint Service Transcript (JST).

In this webinar, you will:
  • Learn what the Military Guide is, why it exists, and how it serves both institutions and military-connected learners
  • Understand how to navigate and search the Guide to locate credit recommendations
  • Explore practical strategies for applying recommendations within your institution's credit evaluation process

Who Should Attend: This session is ideal for admissions professionals, registrars, academic advisors, veterans certifying officials, and any higher education staff who work with military-connected learners and want to serve this population better.

No prior experience with the Military Guide is required — this is your starting point.
