What does it mean to belong when you live between cultures? In honor of AANHPI Heritage Month, the AACRAO AANHPI Caucus invites you to an intimate session with Dr. Joan Sung, author of the moving memoir "Kinda Korean: Stories from an American Life."

Following her impactful plenary at the 2024 PACRAO Annual Conference, Dr. Sung joins us to share her journey of navigating identity as a Korean woman and first-generation American—including her experiences overcoming microaggressions, stereotypes, and family trauma. As a former higher education professional, Dr. Sung’s insights are particularly relevant for AACRAO members seeking to foster inclusive environments. Join us for a lively discussion followed by a live Q&A session.
