The Governance Committee of the AACRAO Board of Directors has been conducting an ongoing review of the AACRAO Bylaws. This process not only promotes good governance but also ensures that AACRAO operates effectively on behalf of its members and the institutions it serves. To streamline the bylaws and shift more operational items to the Board Handbook, the Governance Committee is proposing 18 bylaw changes. The AACRAO Board of Directors invites members to review these proposed changes and provide feedback before they officially vote to move them forward.
In addition to the ability to provide feedback online, AACRAO will host two AACRAO Town Halls to allow members to ask questions before the Board votes on the bylaws in February. Both town halls will cover the same information and members can register to attend whichever time is most convenient.
