Overcoming Vendor-phobia: Embracing Connections and Maximizing Opportunities - even when you’re an introvert

September 11, 2024

September 11, 2024 | 2:00-3:00 pm ET

Do you find the vendor hall overwhelming? Do you find yourself doing a duck and cover (or repeating the mantra, "don't make eye contact") as you walk by a vendor's table? In this session, we'll tackle “vendor-phobia” and explain how and why creating good relationships and open communication with our vendor partners is actually a good investment of your professional development time and energy. We will also discuss ways to maximize the relationship between state/regional corporate liaison chairs and the vendor partners who sponsor conferences. Audience participation will be encouraged, but not required.
