Start your journey with introductory strategies in international admissions, including the knowledge base and skill set needed for credential evaluation. Apply what you’ve learned using case studies based on actual sample documents. If you are ready for more, continue your training on the following day with an overview of evaluating credentials based on the world’s major educational system models, including high-volume countries such as China and India. You may attend either one or both of the AACRAO International workshops.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Apply the basic tenets and best practices in foreign credential evaluation to authenticate records.
- Recognize major educational structures and grading practices, and identify the regions and countries that follow them.
- Evaluate authentic benchmark credentials and transcripts from top sending countries for graduate and undergraduate admissions.
