Between 2016 and 2023, the Ministry of Education allocated more than half a billion crowns to projects that were supposed to improve the quality of education in regional education and the results of primary and secondary school students. However, this money was spent inefficiently, and the quality of education did not improve, the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) said in a statement on the results of an audit of money allocated for projects to support regional education.
