Technical Resources

AACRAO provides information and support for EDX development through sessions and workshops at the AACRAO Annual Meeting as well as at the AACRAO Technology Conference. In addition, the AACRAO SPEEDE Committee members continue to be a resource for any who are interested in EDX development and implementation.

AACRAO also refers interested parties to the following resources that can help guide EDX implementations:

• Guide to Implementation of Electronic Data Interchange in Higher Education  (Implementation guides for both traditional EDI transaction sets and XML schemas)
• Recommended Implementation Practices for SPEEDE (RIPS) (A document intended to assist institutions determine what data must be included in the data exchange, what information is recommended, and what information may be included. It should be used in conjunction with the TS130 Implementation Guide.)
