CollegeNET/AACRAO Golf Tournament
CollegeNET and AACRAO have partnered again in 2006 to host the CollegeNET/AACRAO Golf Tournament on Monday, April 17, 2006 . This four-person scramble shotgun golf event will be played at The AULD Golf Course ( http://www.theauldcourse.com/ ), a John Cook and Cary Bickler-designed course located just outside of San Diego .
The Auld Course is San Diego 's newest premier championship golf facility. Hosting the PGA Stroke Play Championships, the AJGA Championships, the USGA Girls Championships, the San Diego County Open, and the San Diego Amateur Tournament, the Auld Course will prove to be an enjoyable and challenging golf facility hosting the CollegeNET/AACRAO Golf Tournament.
Buses will be picking up all participants at 6:30 a.m. from the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina ( 333 W. Harbor Drive ) for the 25 minute drive to the course located in Chula Vista , CA.

Tour #1: City Tour – San Diego Old & New

Introduce yourself to San Diego with a city excursion. The tour begins with a drive through the newly restored Historic Gaslamp Quarter, where the old-fashioned gaslamps illuminate the walkways leading to fine dining, shopping, and entertainment. Next, you will stop at the B-Street Pier, where you will enjoy a one-hour harbor excursion along San Diego Bay . The Bay is considered to be one of the finest natural harbors on the Pacific Coast . The tour also passes through the Embarcadero, which lines the San Diego Bay from the Maritime Museum to the San Diego Convention Center .
In Old Town, you will have time to browse the shops and have lunch on your own. Old Town State Historic Park , where San Diego began, recreates the California life of the Spanish and early American periods. Its historic buildings, shops, and restaurants illustrate the vast changes that have taken place in this city since it was first settled in 1769. The next stop is beautiful Balboa Park , one of America 's largest municipal parks housing museums from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition and the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. It has the second largest collection of museums outside of Washington , D.C. , and is also home to the world-famous San Diego Zoo. From the old to the new, you will get a true flavor of San Diego on the City Tour.

However the U.S. Embassy recommends traveling with a valid U.S. passport to avoid delays or misunderstandings. Driver's permits, voter registration cards, affidavits, and similar documents are not sufficient to prove citizenship for readmission into the United States . Non-U.S. and non-Canadian citizens must have one of the following: valid/current passport and visa with current endorsed I-94 card; valid/current passport and current endorsed I-94 card; valid/current passport and current endorsed I-94 card and WT. NOTE: Foreign travelers will receive an I-94 card when arriving at a U.S. port-of-entry.
