Trends in Student Perspectives of their College Search

This presentation is an update to our inaugural research project we did last year where we tried to identify if there were a number of points of contact that it took to influence a student’s decision to inquiry, apply, and ultimately enroll at a specific institution.  The idea was to look at recruitment form a business/sales perspective.  General rule of thumb is “7 points of contact influences a sale” … but what we found with admissions recruitment (and this is a positive), it is not about “point of contact.  Rather, it is about the right message, at the right time, via the preferred communication channel.
