Study Finds Harassment of Anthropology Grad Students in Field

April 21, 2013

A study presented at the 2013 meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropology finds abuse of graduate students in biological anthropology when they work in the field. While the study found both male and female harassers and victims, women were much more likely to report abuse than were men. The victims were more likely to identify men as their abusers. The abuse included psychological, physical, and sexual.
