CMSD Data Lists Once Classes Begin
(July 17, 2012)

  1. Before Fall Classes 2012 begins, pull these numbers for Fall 2011 new from HS CMSD to begin to compare to previous year:
    1. Headcount on 15th day and end of term
    2. End of term gpa
    3. Placement, enrolled, grade in Dev Ed
    4. Enrolled, grade in Gen Studies
    5. Retained to Spring 2012
       
  2. End of Week 1 – total credits enrolled for each CMSD student (benchmark)
     
  3. End of Week 1 – Campus of greatest attendance for each CMSD student (to assure the appropriate SSS)
     
  4. End of Week 1 – any CMSD student with 0 credits (once registered/now 1 credits) for outreach
     
  5. End of Week 1 – any CMSD student without a dev ed course (to compare against placement scores and determine if they followed our advice)
     
  6. End of Week 1 – any CMSD student without a gen studies course (to determine if they followed our advice/advise to register for 2nd eight weeks or spring term…use open class list as resource)
     
  7. End of Week 2 – any changes made in CMSD student Fall schedule (for outreach did they drop their dev ed or gen studies course, drop below 12 hours, etc., and advise of 14 week options)
     
  8. End of Week 2 – any CMSD student who was in a Bridge course;  what was grade?; of these students, are any registered for  the next dev ed course/college level course in the 14-week term (to compare and determine if intervention was followed)
     
  9. When does faculty report “Non-attendance”?  Can faculty get a notice that they have a CMSD student and you want an early alert on non-attendance? (to work with early alert process/faculty)

(follow up with personal outreach if not attending)
 

  1. October – S/U reports – any of the CMSD students on it (personal phone calls to connect with support)
     
  2. October – Pre-reg  list for Spring (work with Counseling and SARS info to determine if any students have had a counseling appointment for Spring so registration hold is not applied) (personal outreach/message to students to remind of CF hold until appointment with Counseling)

 

  1. Mid-October – any CMSD with 0 credits (personal outreach to problem solved/get registered for spring)
     
  2. Mid-October - any CMSD student without a dev ed course (personal outreach to problem solved/get registered for spring)
     
  3. Mid-October - any CMSD student without a gen studies course (to compare and determined if intervention was followed)
     
  4. December 1 – Fall CMSD students with 0 credits for Spring or CF holds (outreach for registration, etc.)
     
  5. Jan. 2 – Fall course results by CMSD student with grades(to begin to evaluate data/interventions)
