What's the best way to share your ideas, innovations, and opinions with registrars, admissions officers,
and enrollment managers nationwide? Contribute to AACRAO's prestigious College & University

Give your research and experience a voice by writing for the "Feature" section, or

vehicle for shaping the profession and gaining recognition.
AACRAO members are especially encouraged to submit articles, but non-members, faculty, graduate students,
and members of the corporate sector are also welcome to share their work. Authors will receive copies of the
issue in which their article appears, and will be issued an author honorarium.
Manuscript Preparation for C&U
Feature Articles (refereed articles)
The editor will acknowledge receipt of manuscripts and will forward them to the Editorial Board for review. The Editorial Board will
consider the appropriateness of the article for AACRAO's membership, the usefulness of the information, the

Manuscripts for feature articles should be no longer than 4,500 words.
All submissions must be sent as an attachment via e-mail.

page. A separate cover sheet should be sent via e-mail and include the title of the manuscript and
the author's name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail, if applicable.
References should be formatted in author-date style and follow guidelines provided on page 787
of The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition, published by the University of Chicago Press. A
list of references should appear at the end of the article. Text citations also follow the author-date
format; examples may be found on page 796 of the Manual. For more information or for samples, please contact
In addition to being placed in the manuscript, the data for essential tables and charts should also be

Authors whose manuscripts are selected for submission will be asked to submit a short biographical statement
and an abstract of their article, both no more than 35 words.
