NEW Programming for 2017

SEM Institute
The inaugural SEM Institute will introduce strategic enrollment management (SEM) as an educational and management framework for supporting enrollment and student success at higher educational institutions of all types. This full-day, pre-conference workshop will examine core concepts, discuss ways to apply SEM to support recruitment, retention and completion goals, compare SEM practices at varying institution types, discuss ethical challenges confronting practitioners, and learn how to develop and implement SEM plans.  

Senior SEM Leadership Forum
The two-part Senior SEM Leadership Forum, designed solely for chief enrollment officers with significant career experience, will discuss leadership challenges facing senior SEM leaders as they plan, implement, and evaluate institutional SEM strategies.  The Leadership Forum will run concurrently with a morning and afternoon breakout session timeslot on Tuesday. Participants will engage in discussions on: admission practices; enrollment planning; financial aid, scholarships, and pricing; implementing SEM; marketing; organizing for SEM; SEM research, data analysis and analytics; student recruitment; student success and retention; and use of technology to support SEM. There is no fee to participate, however, advance registration is required and you must be registered for the full conference. Seating is limited to the first 50 eligible participants.
