AACRAO Turns 100!
AACRAO is celebrating its 100th year of service to the higher education community in 2010! Mark your calendar now – we look forward to seeing you in New Orleans, April 21-24! Important Reminders
- Please note that the AACRAO room blocks at the Embassy Suites Hotels and Doubletree Hotel New Orleans are sold out. There is extremely limited space at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. We are currently working on adding room blocks at other hotels within close proximity to the convention center. Please check the Annual Meeting Hotel Page for updates on hotel and room availability.

To receive the best rates, register by the Early Bird Deadline of March 5.
Our conference hotels are now accepting room reservations. Book your room now in the AACRAO room block at either the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, Doubletree Hotel New Orleans, or the Embassy Suites New Orleans – Convention Center. AACRAO has negotiated a special conference rate at these hotels.
Please consider making your travel plans and hotel reservations as early as possible. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is March 29. With the New Orleans Jazz Fest scheduled to take place during the Annual Meeting, we anticipate that the AACRAO room blocks in our contracted hotels will sell out.
- AACRAO is giving back to New Orleans!
We are coordinating a team of volunteers to work with the St. Bernard Project, a nonprofit, community-based organization that rebuilds homes for Hurricane Katrina survivors in St. Bernard Parish, one of the areas hardest hit by Katrina. Click here for additional details.
- Call for Proposals Closed; Still Accepting Corporate Presentations
We are no longer accepting session proposals through the public submission option; however, AACRAO continues to accept corporate presentations. Individuals employed by organizations offering goods and services to institutions of higher education may serve as presenters only through the Corporate Presentation category.
