Northeastern University Offers Tuition Discounts for Families of Undergrads

Beginning in the spring, siblings and parents of current Northeastern University undergraduate students will receive a 25 percent discount on their own tuition, reports The Boston Globe.

The university's president, Joseph E. Aoun, announced the new Lifetime Learning Membership during Parent and Family Weekend. The discounted tuition will apply to more than 100 graduate programs, including online and part-time. The family members must enroll while the student is still attending full time, but even if the student graduates, the discount continues for the duration of graduate study.

Northeastern joins Western New England University in offering a family discount. Western England offers $1,000 off tuition for siblings who enroll as full-time undergraduates, the Globe reported.
