College Board Embraces Prior-Prior Year

The College Board's CSS Profile, a supplemental financial aid form used by more than 200 colleges to award their own aid, will start using "prior-prior year" tax data, reports The Chronicle of Higher Education.

The College Board's decision was unanimous and follows the FAFSA's shift to prior-prior year, which was announced in September. The change in the FAFSA process will allow students to file for aid sooner and more easily.
