Promising Practices for Serving Student Veterans

LIVE FREE Webinar Date: Thursday, February 26, 2015 2:00-3:00pm ET

Changes in federal statute and executive actions have greatly promoted the expansion of services toward veterans and their families. Since the Post-9/11 GI Bill was passed in 2009, close to 1 million veterans, service members, and eligible dependents have taken advantage of the educational benefits available to them.

Learn how institutions can best serve veterans, starting with getting buy-in from key stakeholders, to allocating resources.  This webinar will take a realistic look at what is working on campuses across the country, as well as, where institutions are still struggling. Webinar registrants will also learn step-by-step how one particular college created a successful Veterans Resource Center.
