Founded in 1910, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers ( AACRAO ) is one of the nation's oldest and largest higher education associations. The association is preparing to celebrate a major milestone -100 years of service to professionals within higher education.

Widely regarded as the leading authority in the field of enrollment management, AACRAO has long served as a recognized source of information on student admissions, academic records, international education, and technology.

In addition to its professional development offerings, AACRAO serves as an independent advocate for the collegiate sector on a broad range of policy issues in Washington, DC. The Association's policy agenda is founded on the principles of academic autonomy, access and accountability. AACRAO provides a forum for discussion regarding policy initiation and development, interpretation and implementation at the institutional level and in the global educational community.

AACRAO is excited to commemorate a century of service in higher education, which will culminate in a Centennial Gala to be held at the 2010 Annual Meeting in New Orleans.
