This invitation-only working group convened by AACRAO will bring together educational institutions, NGOs, government entities and credential evaluation professionals to share current practices to document a set of global best practices for working with the post-secondary educational records of displaced students to inform the practices and protocols of the Article 26 Backpack™. 

The Article 26 Backpack™— the UC Davis Ecosystem for Refugee and Vulnerable Student Academic Mobility is a project of a consortium with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the Issam Fares Institute for International Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Beirut and the leading educational software firm, iQ4.com

Key stakeholders will give an introduction to the Article 26 Backpack (TM) Project
 10:00 - 11:30 Panels: Survey of Current Practices
Institutional, governemental, and credential evaluation agency colleagues will present thier approaches to the evaluation of educational experiences and documents for displaced populations. 
 11:30 - 1:30 Commonalities and Divergences - Group Discussions
(includes working lunch)
 1:30 - 2:30 Synthesis and Report Back
Groups will report back on their discussions
 2:30 - 4:30 Best and Acceptable Comparable Practices
Based on the synthesis, the group will discuss best approaches as related to the development of the Article 26 Backpack (TM) Tiers and Protocols.
